I am not surprised that there are no consequences for those who were implicated. Since everyone in the ANC is guilty of the same thing, how can anyone in that party even begin to try and point a finger. A completely rotten, corrupt organisation. The French people executed their government for bad governing, just saying. Seems mass action and protests are only applicable in South Africa if it is a white political party running the show. As long as it is non-white, the government ministers can do whatever they want and the population doesnt care. Jacob Zuma and his cronies can bleed the coffers dry and NOTHING happens to him. Africa just being Africa I guess.

Msimang resigned from the anc and then rejoined when he was promised those implicated in state capture would not be put forward for election. They lied to him so will he resign again?!

It's simple, Mr Mbalula, you just don't put them on the list. Do you think, with all the corruption, and greed amongst comrades or cadres (not too sure if this is what you call them, or is this list also endless) that anyone will agree to step aside? If there is a strong feeling amongst the executives, I ass(u)me you have the numbers to vote against their inclusion, like you do in senseless and harmful motions against the opposition parties in metros and municipalities...JUST TAKE THEM OFF THE LIST

The electoral rules should disqualify a party from standing for elections with corrupt individuals on the party's. This dreaded list system of 'so called' democracy should be replaced with a more direct (pure) democracy where the electorate get to vote for a person not a party. This will enhance our constitution and our democracy.

The ANC integrity committee has to be excluded. Is it Investigating Directorate (ID), being part of the NPA or some Parliamentary Commission, packed with ANC people? Oh that's too precious, the African National Corruption party wants their candidates to have integrity and credibility to stand. This from an inept and thoroughly morally bankrupt organization who has done nothing but be out of integrity with everything they touch. Respect for the TRUTH is the basis for all morality. The TRUTH was revealed via The Zondo Commission and STILL these mamparas are defending the liers, looters and scum who sold out the country. The ANC doesn't respect TRUTH, therefore they align themselves with lies and deceit, and as such Corruption is the only inevitability. The ANC needs buy (or steal) a dictionary to fully understand what integrity means.

There's a distinct difference between the few Tintswalo's that travel in the elite circles that Mbalula and comrades charade in, and the Tintswalo's Myself, and I am sure many other readers see living in poverty on the streets every day of our lives. The latter Tintswalo's grouping being undoubtedly the overwhelming majority. Just because Mbalula and co can't see it, doesn't mean the rest of the planet can't.

The IEC is NEVER to be seen as Independent. Its rules are rotten - how can it allow such dreadful people to be on an electoral list when they have been listed by a sitting Chief Justice that serious suspicions of malfeasance abound their domains. Eish and Eina!

The real electoral reform required in SA is to do away with the list system where citizens get to vote for a person, directly and not have to go through the undemocratic and unconstitutional ANC shenanigans like what we see with ANC members implicated in State Capture defying appeal to withdraw from electoral list.

How high on the list do the implicated feature? I am trying to predict what % votes ANC must achieve for them to make cape town city hall
